PURPOSE: A three-dimensional space scanner and a three-dimensional image display method are provided to scan a three-dimensional space using the operation of scanning a plane image of the existing two-dimensional plane scanner. CONSTITUTION: Spherical image data is extracted using a three-dimensional space scanner. The extracted image data is mapped into programmed spherical geometry. The mapped data image is displayed on a monitor using a viewing program. Form data of an object placed in a space is confirmed by moving a mouse on the monitor. More accurate shape information about the object is obtained on the monitor or Internet. The spacial image includes shape information of all faces inside the scanned space.
