PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive traveling display system. SOLUTION: A bus 2 to be moved among previously determined bus stops in order is loaded with a GPS receiver 6, which calculates mobile object position data expressing the current position of the bus 2 based on a signal transmitted from a GPS satellite. Every time when the mobile object position data express a passing position separated from a bus stop found out from stop position data expressing a previously stored bus stop by a previously determined distance, a CPU 10 in a controller 9 of the bus 2 transmits a passage signal to a traveling monitoring device 16 through communication devices 14, 18. The device 16 transmits display information to display devices 4 installed in respective bus stops in each reception of the passage signal. Each display device 4 displays the display information at the time of receiving it.
