PURPOSE: To provide a method for easily recycling a process cartridge. CONSTITUTION: A milling cutter 200 is inserted into a fixed part 19i where a 2nd end cover 19, a drum frame 13 and a developer frame 16 are joined together with resin so as to cut the part 19i, and the 2nd end cover 19 is detached from the drum frame 13 and the developer frame 16. A 1st end cover (not illustrated in figure) positioned on the opposite side in a longitudinal direction is detached in the same way. Thereafter, the drum frame 13 is detached from a developing frame (not illustrated in figure) joined to the developer frame 16. Thereafter, the photoreceptor drum, an electrifying roller, a cleaning blade, a developing roller, etc., are detached so as to be checked, cleaned and replaced.
