METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF ORGANIC ACID, AMINO ACID AND GLYCINE FAMILY USING GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY/MASS SPECTROGRAPH

PURPOSE: A method for simultaneous analysis of organic acid, amino acid and glycine family using gas chromatography/mass spectrograph is provided to screen organic acidemia and aminoacidopathy in a rapid and accurate manner. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises a first step of inducing trimethylsilyl derivatization reaction by adding a methyl orange indicator to a sample and adding N-methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl)-trifluoroacetamide to the mixture of methyl orange indicator and sample; a second step of inducing trifluoroacetamide derivatization reaction by adding N-methyl-bis(trifluoroacetamide) to the reaction solution; and a third step of simultaneously separating organic acid, amino acid and glycine family using gas chromatography/mass spectrograph.
