PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it hard to illegally use an image formation apparatus.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 1 comprises an internal storage device 16 stored with an additional application program 21, secret data 22, and a plaintext identifier 23. On a receiving a print request from a terminal device 3, a print application 25 passes an encryption identifier included in the print request to an additional application 26, which executes authentication processing based upon the encryption identifier, secret data 22, and plaintext identifier 23, and executes processing of the additional application corresponding to the print request when the authentication by the authentication processing is successful. The print application 25 executes printing processing corresponding to the print request if the authentication by the authentication processing is successful, but rejects the printing processing corresponding to the print request if the authentication by the authentication processing ends in failure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
