PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate connection work of a remote controller with a controller, by providing a connection section on an open/close door provided on an appropriate position of the exterior of the body. SOLUTION: The water heater comprises a heat exchanger 22 for heating water through combustion heat of a burner 21 and the remote controllers 6 and 7 for outputting an operation command to the controller 8 for driving and controlling the burner 21. The remote controllers 6 and 7 are connected to the controller 8, on the connection section 26 provided on the position shielded by the freely-openable door 25 provided at the appropriate position.
