PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent bait preparation letting termites, which live at a place where an insecticide can not be sprayed or administered, for example, at an under ground nest, eat to kill even termites living at a place other than the drug administered place. SOLUTION: The bait preparation comprises a favorite material for termites containing at least one kind selected from the group consisting of mannose, galactose, mannitol, lactose, raffinose, rhamnose, xylitol, inositol, gellan gum and xanthan gum, and an insecticide component having no repellency against termites.
