<p>A device (1) for manufacturing a preform (400) for optical fibres is described, comprising a chemical deposition chamber (3) including at least one gripping member (22A, 22B) rotatably mounted about an axis Z-Z and adapted to hold at least one end of at least one elongated element (4A) constituting a substrate for chemical vapour deposition for the formation of a preform for optical fibres. The chamber includes, moreover, at least one burner (4) which is mobile along a direction substantially parallel to said axis Z-Z and adapted to deposit, on said at least one elongated element (4A), a chemical substance for the formation of a preform, and at least one suction element (6) arranged on the opposite side to said at least one burner (4), on a portion of a wall of said chamber on the opposite side to said at least one gripping member (22A, 22B) with respect to said at least one burner, at least one air suction member is provided, also mobile along direction Z preferably with a motion which is synchronous with respect to that of said at least one burner. The portion of wall (11) of the chamber on which the air suction member (100) is provided consists of a pair of respective upper and lower tapes (73A, 73B) rigidly associated with said at least one burner (4).</p> |
