PURPOSE: A flow shut-off type safety apparatus of a portable gas stove is provided to reduce the disorder of the safety apparatus and reduce the number of the parts, thereby improving safety and reducing the manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal hole(7) is formed to pass through a flow path between a gas inlet and gas pressure-regulating chamber. A valve shaft(8) is supported by a seal bolt(25) at one side of the horizontal hole(7). An opening/closing ring(22) is inserted to open/close the flow path(5) of the horizontal hole at an outer peripheral surface of a valve shaft(8). A distance between the opening/closing ring and flow path(5) makes the gas to flow at the common condition, but the opening/closing ring(22) shuts off the flow path of the horizontal hole(7) when the pressure of a gas bottle increases more than a certain value. A safety spring(10) is compressed to prevent the return of the safety valve with the return preventing spring(15) when the gas pressure increases more than a certain value. A coupling bolt having an outlet hole(16) is formed at the other side of the horizontal hole(7).
