PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to transmit program information. SOLUTION: A communication section 33 communicates with a mobile terminal via a mobile communication network 4, and communicates with a personal computer(PC) via a public telephone network 5. A program information database 34 stores program information including a video recording start time or a video recording end time, etc. The section 33 transmits the program information including the video recording start time which is stored in the database 34 to the PC in an HTML(HyperText Markup Language) file form via the network 5 on the basis of the HTTP(HyperText Transform Protocol). This providing device can be applicable to a video recording reservation device employing a remote control system.
