INSULATING MATERIAL FOR HORIZONTAL MEMBER FOR OUTER PERIPHERAL WALL AND EXTERIOR INSULATING CONSTRUCTION USING THE INSULATING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide insulating members for horizontal members for outer peripheral wall and exterior insulating construction capable of permitting ventilation through walls without additional work to structural members even for exterior insulating method enhancing the rigidity of the second floor and also capable of preventing the degrading in the fixing force caused by interlayer displacement between the upper and lower stories of the building as well as degrading in the drop of airtightness of wall insulating portion. SOLUTION: Continuity of the insulating member for a wall installed at the outer side of the framework is eliminated from an upper to a lower stories along the horizontal member, an elastic airtight member is interposed at the connecting portion between the insulating member for the horizontal member and the wall insulating member and further a ventilating space is formed along the surface facing the lateral framing of insulating member for the horizontal member, and this ventilating space is used as an air passage through the space in upper and lower walls.
