PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive electrifying roller capable of reducing electrifying sound and the etching phenomenon of an image carrier and an image forming device equipped with the electrifying roller, and to provide the electrifying roller excellent in cleaning property and the image forming device equipped with the electrifying roller. SOLUTION: This electrifying roller is equipped with a diameter extending member for extending the diameter of both ends in a longitudinal direction and its surface hardness is >=80 in Asker-C hardness. Thus, the electrifying roller and the image forming device equipped with the electrifying roller are provided.
