PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the failure rate in a power supply increases since there have been a temperature sensor, an arithmetic circuit, a V/F converter, an integral counter, a display, and the like as circuits for predicting the life of a power supply using an electrolytic capacitor conventionally and many of them are present in the power supply, and a maintenance personnel need to go to the installation location of the power supply to read the value of the display. SOLUTION: A circuit for predicting life comprises only two circuits, namely a measurement circuit 1 for measuring the temperature of an electrolytic capacitor in the power supply 4, the temperature of other desired portions, the on/off times in the power supply 4, an output load state, and the like, and an output circuit 2 for digitizing the measurement result for outputting. Then, the measurement result is inputted to a computer 5 that is installed at a remote location to predict the life.
