PURPOSE: A valve assembly for a pressure flush system is provided to mount a piston and a valve in fluid communication to convert movements of the piston into hydraulic pressure for motions of the valve and to cause movements of the piston from a discharge port and a sealing engagement part by flowing water in the valve assembly through the valve and the piston to the discharge port in operating the valve. CONSTITUTION: A pressure flush system in a tank of a toilet includes a pressure flush tank(10) having an inlet port(20) and a discharge port(34), an air inlet(24), and a valve assembly(30). The valve assembly is composed of a generally cylindrical housing(36); a water inlet in fluid communication with the pressure flush tank; a water outlet in fluid communication with the discharge port; a normally closing valve for allowing fluid communication between the water inlet and water outlet when the valve is opened; a piston axially spaced from the valve; and a flexible tube positioned between the valve and the piston and arranged in the housing in fluid communication between the valve and the piston. The piston moves to sealing engagement with the discharge port to allow pressurized water contained in the pressure flush tank. The flexible tube moves in response to movements of the piston.
