PURPOSE: A method of automatically inputting time of a mobile communication terminal is provided to load time information into a field unused in SI(system Information) transmitted to each terminal from a base station, and to transmit the SI, thereby automatically setting time in the terminals by the time information. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives SI including time information transmitted from a base station(1). The terminal reads the time information from the SI, and decodes the read time information(2,3). The terminal compares time read from the time information with existing time of the terminal(4). If the read time of the time information is different from the existing time, the terminal updates the existing time of the terminal to the time read from the time information.
