A flexible, electrically conductive layer comprises a support having partially electrically conducting coated surface(s). The coating is made from an alloy with a specified composition. Flexible electrically conductive layer comprises a support having at least one partially electrically conducting coated surface. The coating is made from an alloy of composition (i). NiMyPx (i) x = 0.01-0.5; and M = Mo, W, Cr, V, Sn or Co. An Independent claim is also included for a process for the production of the flexible electrically conductive layer.
