PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost gas turbine device capable of cooling air bearings supporting the rotor of a generator effectively. SOLUTION: This gas turbine device is provided with a gas turbine engine 1, the generator 3 and a pair of front and back journal air bearings 59A and 59B. The gas turbine engine 1 is provided with a compressor 4, a combustor 6 and a turbine 5. The generator 3 has the gas turbine engine 1 and a rotary shaft 53 for use and is provided adjacent to the compressor 4 and is driven by the gas turbine engine 1. A pair of the journal air bearings 59A and 59B are provided in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 53 of the generator 3 spacedly for supporting the rotary shaft 53 of the generator 3. The rear end of the journal air bearing 59B provided at a position nearer the compressor 4 is communicated with an intake air passage through which the suction air of the compressor 4 flows, for sucking the air in the rear end journal air bearing 59B by the suction air.
