PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely photograph a moving body to be photographed, to continuously monitor for a long period without photographing an unnecessary image, to simplify a structure, to reduce in size and to enhance the preventing effect of occurrence of an accident. SOLUTION: The monitoring camera 10 comprises a sensor 11 for sensing the moving body input to a predetermined range, a photographing lens 12 having the angle of view exceeding the range including the predetermined range, and a shutter operating to photograph according to the sense signal of the sensor 11. Further, the camera 10 comprises a semiconductor memory 2 as a storage medium, an alarm means for operating to generate an alarm according to the sense signal when the sensor 11 senses the body, and a push-phone 4 which is operated by a visitor.
