PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease remaining amount detector which improves detection precision of a grease remaining amount. SOLUTION: A weight body 10 for pressing grease down by its self-weight is arranged for a grease cylinder filled with grease G or an outer cylinder 3 of a grease cartridge. A detection means S for detecting a pressing-down position of the weight body 10 is arranged in an appropriate member such as a fixing body.
