PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of enlarging the tolerance of separative feeding of a paper sheet without damaging the paper sheet nor causing structural complication. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device comprises a paper delivery means for delivering the uppermost paper sheet out of the paper sheets stacked at a paper holding part; a friction member located in the interfering position of the paper sheet delivered by the paper delivery means; a support member tiltable in the paper delivery direction while supporting the friction member; and an elastic member for suppressing the tilt of the support member.
