摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein it is difficult to freely move a display part to a desired position when an observer is busily engaged in operation. SOLUTION: When a display 1 is powered ON, a sensor 3 which senses a human body being present senses observers 9 to grasp the number and location of the observers. A distance measuring means 4 measures the distance Lmin between the observer 9a who is closest to the image display part 2 and the image display part 2 from the positional relation. The distance measuring means 4 is a stereoscopic image pickup device comprising imaging elements 4a and 4b for the right eye and the left eye and detects the largest mark among positioning marks 10a, 10b, and 10c of the observer 9; and the relative positional relation between the observer and image display part 2 is measured to calculate the coordinate values of the positioning mark 10, positions in six axial directions are determined, and a positioning mechanism part 5 for fine adjustment operates via a 1st controller 12 to move the image display part 2 to a position where it is the most easiest for the observer 9a to view.
