PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe fishing rod-holding tool, versatile i.e., capable of coping with any shape of the side of a boat, having a light weight, and being compact and simply housed, since in many cases the fishing rod-holding tool can not be mounted depending on the kind of the boat and the state of the boat side, and on making the frame work of the holding tool long, it becomes heavy and increases its housing space, and also there are instability of the rod-receiving part and risks caused by the unevenness of the parts. SOLUTION: This fishing rod-holding tool for fishing on the boat is provided by installing a tightening screw C for L-shaped frame work on a movable supporting pole 2 and making the rod-receiving part as movable and capable of being mounted either on a long frame A or short frame B. In order to aim at the accuracy and quickness for setting the rod-receiving part, the screw hole of the rod-receiving part and the base part of the mounting screw are made as a square. Also, a wedge shape-adjusting ring 6 is installed for correcting the distortion of the rod-receiving arm-fixing basis 7 and mounting screw 9 occurring at the rod-receiving part 3 on inclining the shaft of the rod, to aim at the strengthening of the rod holding.
