<p>PURPOSE:To perform sound recording without generating sound interruption in the middle way of music by continuing synchronous recording by automatically performing auto-reverse by comparing tape residual time with the time of the music of a CD. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted with a synchronous sound recording key 3 is outputted to external equipment(CD player, etc.) 1 via a synchronizing signal generation circuit 5, and the synchronous sound recording is started. At this time, a microcomputer 4 calculates the tape residual time from sound recording tape time inputted at the beginning, and simultaneously, the time signal 6 of the next music is inputted from the external equipment 1 to the computer 4. At such a case, the tape residual time and the time of the next music of the CD are always controlled in the microcomputer 4. When the tape residual time is larger than the time of the next music of the CD, the sound recording is continued as it is, and adversely, when the former is smaller than the latter, fast feeding is performed up to a tape end, and a tape is switched from a plane A to a plane B, and the synchronous sound recording of the next music of the CD is performed starting from the forefront of the plane B.
