FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of industrial-grade wood cellulose involving hydrothermal processing of wood followed by (i) bleaching including any combination of treatment with oxygen, chlorine, sodium hydroxide, chlorine dioxide, hydrogen hydroxide, ozone, and/or sodium hypochlorite; (ii) reducing degree of polymerization by chemical means; and (iii) exposing resulting material to fixed dose of in-line electron emission within a range of 1.5 to 25 kGr so that variability in cellulose viscosity is limited by 0.2 and 1 cps values. ^ EFFECT: enhanced processing efficiency. ^ 8 cl, 6 dwg, 4 ex |
