Hepatitis C virus (HCV) cell culture system comprising human hepatoma cells that contain an integrated HCV-RNA construct (I) new. (I) contains the HCV-specific RNA segments 5'-NTR (non-translated region), NS (non-structural)3, NS4A, NS4B, NS5A, NS5B and 3'-NTR, and a selectable (marker) gene (II). An Independent claim is also included for (I) containing the novel HCV-specific RNA segments. |
