摘要 FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: velocity of flow is determined by magnitude of velocity head in preset area of pipe line cross section; device including actuating unit is mounted on pipe line; actuating unit includes pressure tube filled with liquid medium with two actuating members at its ends and two measuring tubes; each measuring tube is provided with actuating member at one its end and with ultrasonic transducer at other end; cavities of measuring tubes are communicated by means of additional hose. Actuating members are mounted by means of protective cases ensuring reciprocating displacement along axes of respective tubes under action of flow. Electronic unit has sounding impulse generator, two amplifiers, two diodes, three rectifiers and circuit for recording and indicating momentary and total flow rates. In the course of measurements, sounding impulses (acoustic signals) of ultrasonic transducers are re-radiated. EFFECT: increased resolving power; avoidance of periodic correction of measurement results depending on temperature. 3 cl, 4 dwg
