PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor high in durability and capable of output signal stabilization without damage to rotation sensor basic characteristics. SOLUTION: In this rotation sensor 1, a case 4 forms a ring shape space S inside in collaboration with a first and second rotors 2, 3 and, on the surface of the space S, first and second conductors 5a-5f are formed. There are also arranged therein a substrate 5 that rotates together with the first rotor 2; a first holding member 6 for holding first brushes 6a, 6b in contact respectively with the first conductors 5a, 5b for sensing data on the rotation of the first and second rotors 2, 3 as changes in voltage; and a second holding member 7 for holding second brushes 7a-7d in contact respectively with the second conductors 5c-5f for supplying power and for sensing data on the rotation of the first and second rotors 2, 3 as changes in voltage. The second conductors for supplying power are partially coated by a conductive synthetic resin, and the second brushes are on the resin when the first and second rotors 2, 3 are at their neutral positions in the rotating direction.
