PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup actuator and an optical recording/ reproducing apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: The optical pickup actuator includes a base 100 having a holder 103 positioned at one side of the base, a blade 120 having an objective lens mounted at one side of the blade and a guide groove 115, at least one fine pattern coil 140, 145 installed across the guide groove 115, a magnetic driving portion which includes magnets arranged to be inserted in the guide groove 115 opposite to the fine pattern coils 140, 145, and an elastic supporting members 110 having one end coupled to the holder 103 such that the blade 120 is freely movably supported. As a result, the optical pickup actuator is made lightweight and thin, and the driving force is strengthened, so that tilt can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
