PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ignition even when a current flows to a defrosting heater under the condition that there is a refrigerant leakage from a cooler. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is provided with storage chambers 6, 7 such as a freezing chamber or a refrigerating chamber; a cooler 11 provided behind the storage chambers; and a defrosting heater 16 provided below the cooler 11. A refrigerant circuit including the cooler 11 is filled with a combustible refrigerant. In this constitution, a reflecting plate 15 is installed in a heat contact state at the lower part of the cooler 11, and the reflecting plate 15 and the defrosting heater 16 are in thermal contact through a heat conductive member 18.
