PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint finish tape which exhibits sufficient adhesiveness when stuck to a wall material, does not cause cracking in a finish material applied to a surface of the joint finish tape, and minimizes cracking in the finish material due to movement of a joint portion, and to provide a method for finishing the wall surface using the joint finish tape. SOLUTION: The joint finish tape is laid over the joint portion formed at a location at which the plurality of wall materials forming a wall surface of a building abut on each other. The joint finish tape has holes formed therein along both lateral side portions at regular intervals, and the holes at the respective side portions are equally separated from a laterally central line of the tape, but they are not symmetrically located. It is preferable that a distance between the holes on both the sides is the same, and that one referential hole on the one side is equally separated from the nearest holes on the other side.
