PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel comprising an organic EL element capable of easily obtaining a prescribed brightness, and restraining the fluctuation of brightness. SOLUTION: The EL element 9 formed on a glass substrate 2 (translucent plate) is composed of an organic layer 5 at least including a light emitting layer, interposed between a transparent electrode 3 and a back surface electrode 6. Electrode terminals 3c, 6a (first connection terminals), electrically connected to the transparent electrode 3, are formed on the glass substrate 2. A connection terminal (second electrode terminal) 8b, electrically connected to the electrode terminals 3c, 6a, is formed to a flexible circuit board 8. The width W1 of the electrode terminals 3c, 6a is formed broader than the width W2 of the connection terminal 8b. The electrode terminals 3c, 6a are electrically connected to the connection terminal 8b through an anisotropic conduction film 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
