PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a safety and an easiness of handling by placing a kettle at the center of a grate when the kettle larger than a grate frame is placed on the stove and allowing a user to easily grasp combustion state and temperature state of a stove. SOLUTION: Markings 7 by engraving or printing used as a guide for placing the kettle are put on the top plates 3 of a gas cooking stove on the outer peripheries of the grates 6 divided for each stove concentrically with the center of the stoves. Also, lighting indication bodies 8 for indicating the combustion state of the stove and the temperature states of the to plates 3 are fitted to the markings 7. When the stove is ignited, the indication bodies are lit and, when goes out, the indication bodies flash or lit in a color different from the color at the time of combustion. When the temperature of the top plates is lowered to a specified temperature or below, the indication bodies 8 go out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
