PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centralized hot water supply system using an open type hot water storage tank, by solving various problems in a conventional centralized hot water supply system in a multistory building, in which a hot water storage capacity of tanks in the whole building increases because of the necessity of providing the equipment such as a close type tank and a pump in each zone. SOLUTION: The centralized hot water supply system using the open type hot water storage tank, is provided with the open type hot water storage tank at a high place of the building. The tank is composed of: a hot water supply vertical route 2 having pressure reducing valves for zoning; a hot water return route 14 to the open type hot water storage tank; and a hot water supply circulation system having a circulating pump 7 and a heating means in each zone, wherein the hot water supply vertical route is connected to each hot water supply circulation system by a hot water supply route having a check valve.
