PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic phosphor having excellent dispersion stability, a small particle diameter and excellent emission characteristics, an inorganic phosphor paste and a method for producing the inorganic phosphor. SOLUTION: The inorganic phosphor has 0.5-3.5 g/cm3apparent density, 0.1-1.0μm average particle diameter and an excitation wavelength at 140-400 nm. The inorganic phosphor is produced by a liquid-phase method or a spray pyrolysis method and has Ba element, Gd element, Al element and an activator.
