PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device which stably holds lubricating oil at the bearing center, and at the same time, prevents an outflow of the lubricating oil. SOLUTION: Two pairs of herringbone dynamic pressure groove patterns 8A, 8B are made vertically asymmetric respectively in the axial center direction. The dimensions are set so as to make dynamic pressure generated by the upper dynamic pressure groove pattern 8A stronger. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
