THERMAL-TRANSCRIPTIONAL RIBBON HAVING SAFETY PERFORMANCE

PURPOSE: A thermal-transcriptional ribbon having additional performance of safety during a printing process is provided to prevent forgery and alteration of a printed material only by means of a simple process. CONSTITUTION: The thermal-transcriptional ribbon comprises a basic film(2); a heat-resistant layer(4) on one side of a basic film to inhibit heat-fusion between the film(2) and a thermal transcriptional head; and on the other side of the basic film(2), at least one of volatile dye layer(12) and a protective layer(16), at least one of the thermal-fusion ink layer(14) and a protective layer(16), or at least one of the volatile dye layer(12) and the thermal-fusion ink layer(14) and the protective layer(16). The protective layer(16) comprises light-storage material or non-visible fluorescent material and/or mixture thereof.
