<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for switching a filling tank the use of which is switched from the filling tank during use to the filling tank on standby by using a relatively simple device with no pressure drop involved by the measurement of a flow rate of a fluid, and which is excellent from a point of view of a facility cost and a driving cost in the filling tank filled with the filler for the purpose of a chemical reaction, adsorption or absorption and a fluid is circulated and which has the filling tank during use and the filling tank on standby. <P>SOLUTION: The method for switching a use from the filling tank during using to the filling tank on standby is the one in the filling tank filled with the filler for the purpose of the chemical reaction, the adsorption or the absorption is filled and the fluid 7 is circulated and which has the filling tank 1 during use and the filling tank 2 on standby.
