<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid scanning type writing device capable of forming a high quality full-color image by suppressing variation in a quantity of a transmitted light due to driving of an optical shutter for a long time by a comparatively simple and low cost structure. <P>SOLUTION: This optical writing device comprises a driving circuit 13 that allows lights of three primary colors to be sequentially incident on a plurality of optical shutter elements 24 each consisting of a PLZT (lead lanthanum zirconia titanate) and applies an electric field across an individual electrode 25 and a common electrode 26 by alternately inverting it in a predetermined cycle according to image data. The driving circuit 13 has an isolation amplifier 42 for applying a bias voltage to the common electrode 26, and a pulse voltage generator for shifting a voltage is connected to the common line of the isolation amplifier 42 at the secondary side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
