<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency of PET (positron emission tomography) equipment, while reducing the exposure dose of a medical worker in the PET equipment, which is predicted to increase, with the increment of the demand for the PET medical examination. <P>SOLUTION: The approach of the medical worker to a subject is avoided, for reducing the exposure dose of the medical worker. The movement line of the subject and the movement line of the medical worker are shortened, while separating the movement line of the subject and the movement line of the medical worker. To be more concretely, an operation room/diagnostic reading room 1 is made so as to be adjacent to a treatment room 6, and a PET camera room 2 is made so as to be adjacent to the operation room/diagnostic reading room 1, in which a passage 3 for the subject is provided around them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
