<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the configuration of equipment and to enable random access by detecting carriers by a busy tone signal and by using a CSMA/CA system as an access control system. <P>SOLUTION: A radio communication equipment comprises an antenna section for transmitting and receiving a high-frequency signal, an impulse radio signal processing section for performing the transmission and reception processing of an impulse radio signal; a busy tone signal processing section for transmitting and receiving the busy tone signal; an access control section for transmitting the busy tone signal from the busy tone signal processing section while data are being outputted to the impulse radio signal processing section; and an upper-layer processing section for processing transmitted and received data. The busy tone signal is used for detecting the carriers and the CSMA/CA system is used as the access control system, thus simplifying the configuration of equipment and achieving random access. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
