PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot arm moving mechanism which performing smooth movement resembling human in movement at low cost without requiring control of a plurality of axes. SOLUTION: This robot arm moving mechanism has a motor 2 to transmit rotating power from a barrel part of a robot 1 and an arm part 5 slantedly mounted on a rotation axisαof the motor 2 inclined by a specified angleθ. Smooth movement close to the human movement with one power source is presented, since the arm part 5 of the robot 1 moves inclined by the specified angleθfrom the rotation axisαby rotation of the motor 2.
