PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culture apparatus and a culturing method which can achieve large-scale culture without peeling-off of a stem cell from a support.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a stem cell culture apparatus equipped with at least a culture tank, a culture media filling up inside the culture tank, and a support having a height difference on the support surface and coated with a stem cell-adhesion material, wherein multiple lower parts causing to form a height difference on the support surface exist. The support has a stem cell non-peeling-off property, and the stem cell is cultured on a support surface area. It is preferred that the lower parts of 400-3000000 per 1000000 μmof the support surface area exist on the support surface. The stem cell adhesion material is at least any one or more of E-cadherin, matrigel, and laminin. The invention includes floating the support in the culture media, and proliferating the stem cell, which is adhered on the support surface through the stem cell adhesion material in a dispersed condition, without peeling-off from the support surface. |
