SUPPORTING STRUCTURE OF TRANSVERSE ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the vibration in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle of a transverse engine is considerably larger than that of a longitudinal engine, and the longitudinal vibration cannot be damped sufficiently if a vertical liquid seal mount which is generally used for the longitudinal engine is applied to the transverse engine. SOLUTION: In a supporting structure of a transverse engine, a conical rubber 28 and an inclined liquid seal mount 20 with the axis 30 of the maximum damping generation at the center of the conical rubber 26 inclined byθwith respect to the perpendicular are employed.
