PURPOSE: A method for recording an image pattern is provided to prevent the degradation of productivity when plural recording media are processed even if the time for measuring the recording media is extended. CONSTITUTION: A method for recording an image pattern comprises the steps of feeding a recording medium to a measuring device by a feeding device(20), performing first measurement to obtain position-related data indicating the position of a standard image recording mark on the recording medium by a measuring device(30), transmitting the recording medium to a recording device by a transmitting device(40), performing second measurement to obtain the position data indicating the position of a position measuring mark on the recording medium, obtaining the position of the image recording standard mark based on the obtained data, correcting the image data indicating an image pattern, and recording the image pattern indicated with the corrected image data by a recording device(50).
