<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler applicable well to a gas exhaust system working upon receiving a high load in thermal terms. <P>SOLUTION: The muffler for the gas exhaust system includes a case 0 equipped internally in consolidated structure with a pressure vessel 1 having pipe(s) 9 and a film 10, a gas exhaust valve furnished with a spring 2, a piston 7, a piston rod 3, a shutting element 5 contacting with the piston rod 3 and a pressure connection conduit pipe 4, and a guide socket 16 for the piston rod. The shutting element 5 shuts one pipe to a certain degree. The film 10 is insulated from the piston rod 3 in thermal terms, and a layer 14 insulated thermally is provided between the shutting element 5 and the pressure vessel 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
