PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker with excellent temperature distribution performance in cooking, even if a large-sized plate is used, to provide excellent cooking. SOLUTION: A plate 22 mounted on a top plate for cooking is formed into a nearly oblong shape having a size larger than that of a heating coil, and is so formed as to increase the thicknesses of parts 26 of its cooking surface close to four corners and to reduce the thicknesses of long-side peripheral parts 27 of the nearly oblong shape. Thereby, in the cooking surface of the plate 22 induction-heated by the heating coil, heat of its nearly central part is transmitted more to the parts 26 close to the four corners each having the larger thickness. The long-side peripheral parts 27 of the nearly oblong shape each have the smaller thickness to restrain a calorific value, so that baking irregularity is prevented by raising the temperature in the vicinities of the four corners of the cooking surface and by reducing the temperature difference of the entire cooking surface to improve the temperature distribution of the cooking surface.
