PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password input processing method that can prevent a theft of a password in a password inputting step. SOLUTION: A personal identification code SCi that a user has in memory is stored in advance in an authentication device 20. The authentication device creates a data array DAx depending on the time of use and sends it to an input device 10 where a display part 11 displays the data array DAx. The user reads a password corresponding to the personal identification code from the data array displayed on the display part and inputs it from an input part 12. The authentication device computes the user's true password from the data array and personal identification code, and compares the true password and the input password to authenticate the password.
