PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for sealing a percutaneous puncture site that ensures a perfect sealing effect for a blood vessel wall puncture site.SOLUTION: A puncture site closing device includes a feed member 40 that can be introduced from a duct tissue to a blood vessel puncture site 48, a sealing material 67, and an expandable member 70. The sealing material can be fed to the blood vessel puncture site through the feed member, and seals the blood vessel puncture site from outside a blood vessel 36. The expandable member can be disposed to the blood vessel from blood vessel access different from the blood vessel puncture site, is operated so as to temporarily seal the blood vessel puncture site of the blood vessel, and restricts the passage of the sealing material to the blood vessel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
