<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction indication device capable of improving visibility from a vehicle side. <P>SOLUTION: This turn signal device comprises a light emitting mean 17 and a control mean 32.The light emitting mean 17 emitting the light as needed is mounted on an outside door handle 10 equipped with a base member 11 fixed on a door panel rear side 51B and a handle member 12 supported on the base member 11 and engaged with a door lock mechanism for door opening and closing operations.
