PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide elastic belt-like materials in various shapes in which cross-sectional shapes can be formed optionally according to the purpose of use and which are suitable for use as a sealant or a cushioning material, a method for mass-producing the materials efficiently at low costs, and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: As shown in Fig., a fluid mixed composition a obtained by pressure-mixing a gas into a heat-solidifying composition containing a polyurethane prepolymer and a latent solidifying agent prepared by inactivating a solid polyamine as main components is expanded, heated at a temperature equal to or above a solidification critical temperature, solidified, and molded into a belt-like object having a required cross-sectional shape so that the elastic belt-like material is obtained. In the method, the composition a is extruded from a resin extruder 1, expanded, guided into a liquid or gas heating region 2, and solidified while being transferred.
